Company History

The Panther Westwinds Company or commonly known as Panther, was a manufacturer of niche sport cars and luxury cars, based in United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1972, and enjoyed success throughout the 1970s with retro-styled, high quality production cars. Panther Westwinds Company also opened a local dealership here in Kuala Lumpur named Panther Car Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

Panther Car Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. has since become importer and retailer of luxury and high-end performance car in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley, carrying continental brands like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Mini, Porsche as well as Japanese brands like Toyota, Nissan, Mazda and Honda.

When The Panther Westwinds Company ceased operations in the 1980s, their local dealership in Kuala Lumpur were taken over by the current owners…and…the rest is history.

Upon taking over the ownership of Panther Car Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the management  turned the company around by shifting its focus to importing quality performance and high end vehicles from the The United Kingdom and Japan and sell it to the Malaysian market.
